Teartrough lines represent the curved depression under the eye and the side of the nose. This is named teartrough because this is where the tears flow when crying. This depression gets worse with age and makes us look older and hollow. This groove can be easily filled with injectable fillers to provide a more youthful look. The pictures below show conservative treatment of the teartrough groove.
Mentolabial Fold
The mentolabial fold is the crease below the lower lip and above the chin. In some patients this crease is very deep and can be improved with chin implants or chin surgery. Injecting this area with filler is a non surgical means of improving this area over lunch! There is no downtime or recovery and the profile improvement can be dramatic.
The above patients had deep lip/chin fold augmented with filler. This 5 minute procedure changes their entire lower face aesthetics with a simple injection of filler.
