Eyelid surgery can be seriously complicated by common medications that many patients take on a regular basis. Although these medications may seem harmless, they can affect the ability of blood to clot which can lead to complications in any surgery, but especially in eyelid facelift surgery. The following list show common medications that can increase bleeding. Before any surgery always tell your surgeon what medications you are taking.
