Dr. Niamtu stresses the fact that no practitioner regardless of his or her specialty should undertake any procedure without adequate clinical and didactic preparation. It is not suggested that procedures can be mastered in a single course, however for practitioners that have completed medical school, oral and maxillofacial surgery residency or other post graduate residency programs, many of these procedures can be performed after basic didactic and clinical training.
